Digital Media and Design Major
The major is a 53- or 54-credit hour major comprised of a common core
of courses and two tracks of specialization. Students majoring in Digital
Media and Design will add the courses from their choice of specialization
to the core courses. The details are as follows:
Core Courses
All digital media majors will complete the following courses (41 credit hours):
Interactive Design Track
Student pursuing the Interactive Design track will complete a set of core courses for the major as well as the following additional courses (13 credits):
(Note: students pursuing the Interactive Design track must complete MTH-161 Discrete Mathematics as their core mathematics course.)
Media Design Track
Students pursuing the Media Design track will complete a set of core courses for the major as well as the following additional courses (12 credits):
