| Enumerated in 1860 census living in Middleburg, age 36, a grindstone maker, with real estate worth $500 and personal property worth $200, b. in Germany, wife Romina, 24 years old, b. in Ohio. On 11 April 1863, Jacob and Romina T. Euga sold property on the north side of Bridge St. to Enos B. Balch, bounded on the west by Wallace Alley and on the north by J Jones's property and on the west by George Nokes's lot--about 1/2 acre. Berea City's list of burials for 1865 says "July 2 Jacob Euga -- consumption [age] 38" 1904 transcription list says "Jacob, died July 2, 1865, age 38 yrs, 8 m, 4 da." 1934 transcription list says "Jacob Enga, died July 2, 1865, age 38 y, 8 m, 4 d" No marriage license in Cuyahoga Cty. |
